Happy Heiny's Stuffins are a unique seven-layer hemp insert. They are made of three layers of hemp, a one-layer hemp pocket, and a three-layer smaller hemp insert, which Happy Heiny refers to as an Oval. Stuffins are made so that child's wet zone is covered without the additional bulk of fabric where it is not needed. You may customize your insert by adding more than one Stuffin Oval into the pocket for extra absorbency. With the removalble Oval, the drying time of Stuffins is less than it would be with a seven-layer completely sewn insert.

Will the Stuffin Oval insert slip if only placed in half-way? NO. The small oval insert will stay in place. Simply place the oval all the way into the pocket of the Stuffin for a front wetter or just slide halfway into the pocket for a middle wetter - extra absorbency where you need it without added bulk throughout the entire diaper.

Happy Heiny Stuffins are made of hemp fleece.

We recommend washing and drying Stuffin seperately from pocket diapers for 4-6 times to prevent the transfer of natural hemp oils to the stay-dry fabrics. Hemp products, like the happy heiny Stuffin, needs to be washed up to 8 times before reaching maximum absorbency.

Happy Heiny Stuffins may be washed on warm or hat and tumbled dry on hot.

*Note: When they first arrive, Happy Heiny Stuffins will look too big for the corresponding diaper. Wash them several times and they will shrink to the correct size like magic. The more you wash these, the better they get.

Our Thoughts:

The Happy Heiny Stuffins make it so easy to stuff a pocket diaper. Put as many extra oval inserts into the pocket as your baby needs and the Stuffin slips easily into the pocket diaper. Stuffins may cost a little more than a prefold, but they are easier to use, trimmer and more absorbent.
